I disconnected the clutch hose and capped it. I did not have rebleed my clutch as the bubbles flowed up into the brake MC.

Sounds like a good project. Remember to loosen the parking brake cables and make sure the brake shoe tension springs are not upside-down as that would interfere with adjuster operation.
