I used some Permatex to hold the transmission pan gasket in place before torquing down to Bentley spec. Now, a leak seems to have developed on the forward driver's side corner of the pan. Could the permatex react with the ATF to cause the leak, or did I just not get the seal in place? I have some pics, post after work today - it seems the gasket gets a little thinner towards the corner. Either that, or the oil cooler O rings are leaking, it's in that area - on that side. I have another gasket, so might drop the pan and try a reseal. 1st time had the transaxle on the engine stand. Also, only leaks aggressively under load. When parked after a drive, the drip slows and pretty much stops. Any thoughts appreciated.
