RE: Rebuilt injectors About four years ago I put in a set of injectors rebuilt by a local shop that specializes in just that. At about 120 miles one went bad. After replacing it with one that had just been pulled out things went fine. When I took the bad injector back to the rebuilder he was flabbergasted but after checking he agreed. He replaced the bad one with a new one off the shelf and then rebuilt the other three for free. And apologized about a dozen times in th process, saying that such occurrences were so rare in his experience as to be almost non existent. But none the less, a freshly 'rebuilt' injector had failed. |
