D'oh.. Disregard, I'll go join the google group that Mike setup. :) -----Original Message----- From: Marius Strom Sent: Tuesday, May 04, 2010 2:44 PM To: 'Mike "Rocket J Squirrel"'; vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: RE: Vanagon Wiki I've been hosting MediaWikis for a few years, but with notoriously little customization. How about everyone that's interested in participating in administering and setting up the Wiki shoot me an email, and I'll go create a mailing list for subsequent administrative conversations. We can figure out who will host it, etc, so we don't abuse the Gerry list for this. :) -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Mike "Rocket J Squirrel" Sent: Tuesday, May 04, 2010 7:08 AM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Re: Vanagon Wiki Steve Williams wrote: > At 06:24 PM 5/3/2010, Sudhir Desai wrote: >> there is a listee who runs a few mediawiki sites, and had interest in >> hosting. if he could publicly chime with a way to submit articles, >> maybe we could be back up soon? > > That would be me. The Wayback Machine contains the text of the main page (www.vanagonwiki.net). Are you a wiki guy and can bang up a starting point? Someone here said that there were some articles w/o illustrations that he'd found, those should be re-posted, too. I don't know if I'll have the gumption to re-do my solar and aux batteries pages, though. There was a lot of work and research there. This discussion can be taken to p-mail once the few folk who want to participate in the reboot make themselves known. -- Mike "Rocket J Squirrel" Elliott 84 Westfalia: Mellow Yellow ("The Electrical Banana") 74 Westrailia: (Ladybug Trailer company, San Juan Capistrano, Calif.)
