Mine is a small (by most standards) 15W panel that is just enough to replenish the battery in sunny climes when we stay put for a spell. I have 2 sets of the (white) particle board side pieces -- 45* for winter (pictured) and 60* for summer... http://members.cybertrails.com/~ahwahnee/VWSolarPanel.JPG Panel is from Harbor Freight -- about 40 bucks on sale w/coupon. The 'feet' straddle the storage container I have in the upper luggage well. The whole thing knocks down with the panel stored where the upper bunk used to be. I have only used it as shown but made an extension cord if I needed to set it on a picnic table or such. Since we usually travel in sunny weather in the US West and prefer to camp with the Westy pointed south, this arrangement works for us. Geo |
