Mine was running out of gas at the 3/4 mark. The first time I was just on my way out, turned around, came home and poured a gallon in & it worked. Off to town and a fill up, I did change the filter.... The next time (I had to check it <g>) I was on my way to work and drove into a gas station bucking and generally feeling like I was out of gas at the 3/4 mark. It took 12 gallons to fill it and then it ran great. I changed the tank and all that problem went away. In your case you need to drive it some more, get 200+ miles on a tank and see what happens, maybe drive it until the gauge gets close to the red. Could be it is working fine and you just have the 'new to me car jitters'? I always worry a bit with a 'new to me' car...
