Fair enough. <g>  Mike used it to get his beast from BBTB in Maine
down to Virginia, which made him quite happy too.  He doesn't let
anyone else touch his van, so you may visualize him lying underneath
for an hour with his oxygen tank, wrapping a difficult location on
one of the fore-and-aft pipes.

The tinfoil (or a Ziploc bag) is a good idea, since dirt bothers
it.  Should keep indefinitely, more or less, in storage or in
service.  Mike's roll was black, but I got a bright yellow one to
replace it.  Minimum stretch for application is 1.5x -- if you
stretch at least that much (up to 3x) and don't get too much dirt on
it, it fuses in a minute or two; enough to let go of anyway.  At that
point with two or three turns on it should be plenty strong to use
since it works in tension.
