OK, so we don't have a source of radio active materials. But these
generators use a source of heat combined with a a thermo-electrical unit
to produce electrical power, and that fact should be enough to plant a
bug in some smart list members head to start the thinking on how to
solve the heat-source problem and get rid of the radioactive materials.
BTW, the RTG's are currently used on space vehicles. in deep space when
they are too far away from our sun for solar panels to work.
