The current post to the list about the County parks/campgrounds promts me to ask this: Has anyone found anything online that is a good guide to local campgrounds run by cities and counties? The state parks systems all seem to have good websites for finding their parks. But I've found several, sometimes small, city or county run campgrounds that are usually cheap and convenient. But the problem is finding them because there is usually little or no local signs and they don't appear in the various guides in most cases. But, considering the number of online camping directories developed by individuals or groups, I'm wondering if anyone has bumped into a website where info on city or county campgrounds has been gahtered together.
