Subject: CA Smog check: dilution problem
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8"

Hello,

We went to have our 1987 Syncro CA smog check done and for the first time it failed the initial test due to what they called a “dilution” problem and suggested we check the exhaust for leaks.

We had a smoke check done on the exhaust which didn’t reveal any leaks. Has anyone had any experience with this or any ideas what else might cause this “dilution” problem?
