Having had a major PS leak during a trip, I'd place a greater priority on that. The steel supply lines are usually the problem, as they carry a great deal of pressure, and can rust through as mine did. The return line/hose is less of a problem. If you still have steel lines, they can be replaced with hydraulic hoses. I had my steel line re-done in steel by a hydraulic shop, but if I did it again, I'd just redo with hoses.
