I think that those of us that care about the wiki can suggest/ask permission from posters/solicit/etc for content go to the wiki as it comes up. We need to strike a balance between getting everything we can from the wisdom/cached or saved articles of this group/etc and pissing this group off to the point where the wiki becomes a banned discussion topic :).

To that end, I have created a google group for those interested in discussing the technical details:

I have sent invitations out to a couple of you, please feel free to delete them if you're not interested. Anyone can join the email list by going to that link.

If anyone has content from the wiki saved that they would like to see restored to it, you can mail to the list without joining (for now--I'm sure we'll eventually be found by bots and have to restrict access to humans with a captcha or something). The email address is on the website.
