I noticed the Harbor Freight flyer had notice that their 3 panel solar outfit (45 watts total with controller, aluminum stand and a couple fluorescent 12 volt bulbs) was on sale for $159.
 
I bought this 2 years ago and have been satisfied.  I switched to an MPPT controller--properly wired, and it makes a huge difference.
 
I have two panels set up like the portable "book" array and the third is roof mounted  with hinges like Frank Condelli's set up.
