Scott,

No offense taken at all. I agree with you completely - and nowe that I re-read what I wrote I can see how it sounded. Just to clarify I DID NOT tell him to just order the part before we diagnose the problem. In context of the conversation I had with him I actualy said:

I suggested to him that *(if this is what is wrong)* he may as well just order a new switch and replace the whole thing since they are so inexpensive.

Thanks though for the tips on the other things to check out. That was why I posted to begin with to see exactly what esle I should be looking for.
