yes, it sure would be a nice easy inexpensive fix ..
though sometimes the pushrod cover tin fights you ....getting access to the
OP switch in there.
Like you have to undo the top where there are exhaust nuts/bolts that may be
rousted/very stuck.

If there is some difficulty there............when  going back together ..(
and thinking of 'next time I want that part off' )
the tin will stay in place just fine with only one upper bracket. holding
it.
