I believe that Go Westy or perhaps I read it on the Samba that one of the biggest problems with upper control arm bushings is poor installation procedures.

There's some good information here for anyone interested.

I actually thought about using some JB Weld instead of having them spot welded, as overheating them seems to be a big problem. I need to change mine out this summer.
