Subject:      Question about removing syncro speedo drive gear

Dear List,

I need some advice on removing the drive gear for the speedometer from
the front differential of a Vanagon syncro.  If you have done this job
before and can give me some advice I should would appreciate it.  The
main thing we are dealing with is how to get the pin out that locks the
gear in place.  I appreciate any help you can give.
