Subject: Speedo parts wanted
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

Hi Volks,

A local 1988 westy owner asked me for some help with her speedometer... I pulled it out and it was the typical issue where the metal gear had come off the shaft. Which is a repair I have done a couple of times and I was able to get that sorted out easily enough....

Unfortunately, in the process of reassembly I managed to break the yellow plastic gear on the other end of the shaft. I tried repairing it with superglue but it won't stay together.

Has anyone got a late-model parts speedo available? All I really need is the shaft with the yellow plastic gear on the end, but I need it ASAP to help get this van mobile ASAP.

Thanks!

Happy Trails,
