Well there you go. You can carry a FUNDO load of stuff! :-)
I'm using 16'' Mercedes CLK wheels on my Westy. These wheels are not only lighter than the stock tiny steel hoops but are also forged unlike many other OEM offerings. Ride is better, handling is better, and stopping is shorter over 185R14 tires. Perhaps to answer your question you would be better off looking here: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=203519 . People have posted their experiences, good and bad, with different types of wheels on their Vanagons. 2010/5/14 Kevin Jordan <kevin.jordan@cox.net> > Yep, all that they have cast in them is: > > 4A0601025P > 7Jx16H2 ET45 > FUNDO > > > > Jake de Villiers wrote: > >> I suppose you have looked at all the little info spots cast/forged >> into the wheel itself? >> >> That's where I saw the load rating on the Passat wheel I cited previously. >> >> Good luck! >> >>
