Regarding O-rings. Silicone will withstand greater temperature range but buna has better abrasion resistance - it wears better. Tom www.stir-plate.com

check, all is well. Shaft was not nearly as worn as my spare throttle body which I am in process of rebuilding with delrin bushes and new butterfly. > I also don't think it ever hurts to lube the throttle body shaft. check again, Phil's Tenacious oil :)
