GoWesty states on their review of campers that the ones with square headlamps (later models) are better vehicles than the ones with round headlamps. They also state that Eurovans are better vehicles than Vanagons, but that some people are just hardheaded and prefer Vanagons for reasons of their own, and they are happy to support that preference by selling extremely high priced versions, and stuff.
