Quick News Update.....
STILL LOOKING FOR A USED LUGGAGE RACK. I want to have one lined up by
monday.
Luckily however, My mother, whos name is Theresa and really is a saint.....
(though not "mother theresa") just retraced my route and was able to FIND my
luggage rack (With Tom Busse Bag!) relatively unharmed on the side of the
highway. It is cracked all the way through up one corner, about a 10''
crack. The two bolts (on the sides) that pulled through have left reasonably
large holes. But alas, it is likely repairable.
I'm taking it to the mechanics shop first thing Monday morning, and we'll be
trying to find a body shop that will deal with it (and deal with it well!).
The first bit of reasonable news that's come since this incident, as I was
REALLY worrying about where i'd find one (Still am actually, I am STILL
LOOKING FOR A REPLACEMENT).
Thanks for those who chimed in.
I'll tell the story of the Skull once I find a new one. So.....
That's the prize to anyone who finds me one! Ready....GO!
