Last Friday some guy turned in front of me without signaling and I hit him, totaling our Toyota Avalon.
So now I have to find a car on short notice.  One syncro shared by three people working in household won't work...especially college daughter who can't drive a stick.
Like to have an older Passat or Jetta wagon, preferably diesel, but doesn't have to be.  Will travel for a decent deal.  
If anyone has a line on such a vehicle, please reply via pmail.
Thanks for indulging me with this post.  I think I can trust the volks on this list for leads on good used cars.
