I have the *Alpine* iDA-X305 that is specifically designed for the iPod. Be aware that it has no CD player. Who needs it these days? I love it. There are two versions of this head unit. The latest release (with an 'S') has the capability to play Pandora over an iPhone. If you have just an iPod, there is no need to pay the extra for this feature.
