Hi all,
I'm in the midst of refurbishing my a/c system. (1991 4speed carat, original
specs-new parts)
Things I've done thus far:
Break apart system into sections and flushed with a quart of methanol and a
gallon denatured alcohol
Cleaned up fittings and replaced o-rings(r-134a retrofit kit)
Replaced the Expansion valve, now I realize this didn't need to be done
probably but it was cheap.
Replaced the dryer
Bought a vacuum pump and already had the gauges

Hoping original compressor works, it spins freely and doesn't make any bad
noises. system was not operational when i bought so unsure

Whilst removing the hoses from the condenser the threads stripped off one of
the fittings(on condenser side of connection)
I ordered a new condenser....

My question is:
Is it hard to remove the condenser without dropping the radiator/opening the
cooling system?
