Subject: Power Mirror Switch ?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Can anyone tell me if I can remove the power mirrir switch toggle? Not the switch, just the black toggle piece. Has never worked in two years since I bought the van. When I removed and relocated during speaker install, I cleaned it and still did not work. My window crank occassionally hits it and started working now. Would like to either increase depth on window crank or take off the toggle so don't break it rolling the window up and down. I know they have extended cranks, but they are pricey. Would be perfect if I could place a spacer on the spindle to give me about 1/4". Thanks, doods and doodettes. Michael in San Antonio 91GL Weekender AT 2.1L 'Gringo' 73 Beetle
