Mine stopped working when I installed a new, but substandard ignition
switch.  But when a shop put a new one in last week, I still don't have the
chime back, and we miss it....

At least the VW turns the headlights off when the switch is off.  I need a
"you left the lights on dummy" chime in the Civic as I've done that numerous
times and paid the price...
