Either plug the hoses (easy, and easy to put the heater back if you find you want it) or do as Dave suggests. Yours, David ps -- in my experience the front heater keeps the driver's feet warm and deals with the windshield; the rear heater (which is a recirculating one) controls the overall cabin temperature. But as Dave says, if you live in a place that has real winters you mustn't heat the car very much or people will start to sweat, and that ruins the protective ability of their clothing. That's why even in thirty below weather you still have to open your coat when you're working. GoreTex clothing undoubtedly helps with this, but that's since my time. |
