I don't have no "nudist lifestyle." That's a scurrilous rumor. I just sometimes get naked when I find a place where there is close to zero risk that someone will see my body. A mere glimpse of it can cause blindness. What I do have is a "secludist lifestyle. At least when camping. Mrs Squirrel and I like seclusion when we camp. The missus uses camping trips to just read, say as little as possible to anyone, and depressurize from work and other responsibilities, and I like quiet and the feeling of the two of us being alone in a (hopefully) beautiful place with no one around in eye or earshot. Besides, the AZ gatherings were absurd numbers of hours away and across some of the least attractive desert in the southland. So here's a weird thought: What if I remained always a faceless "voice" heard only on the ether of the Internet. A man of mystery, rumor, and ... belief. "...some say he was a giant of a man, shy due to a carbuncle the size of a plover's egg on his nose; but others tell of a man who..." Oh, wait -- I know of at least two, if not three, members on the list who have met me. Damn. Okay then, anyone coming though Bend (Oregon) drop me a note ahead of time and we can meet for a pint. Or other beverage of choice. -- Mike "Rocket J Squirrel" Elliott 84 Westfalia: Mellow Yellow ("The Electrical Banana") 74 Westrailia: (Ladybug Trailer company, San Juan Capistrano, Calif.)
