Leak somewhere. One of the sneaky ones happens if you horse the flue fitting down with the mounting screws, instead of getting everything lined up first. Domestic broomstick ideal tool for lining up.

I struggled with this problem for a year, or a similar one. It wouldn't reliably stay lit on pilot. I was trying to investigate filters &c. on the fridge unit and gas valve itself when circumstances intervened.
