Sorry, taken with my phone, but this is what the OEM (?) adaoter looks like that was in my van and I bought a Volvo adapter that works with the last two stereos. This one is from by Bluetooth headset, but looks the same only a little smaller. I have not noticed a marked difference if I use the local option on receiver, but again, it only happens once in awhile.
