That's the way the ones in Subaru's are as well. The one in my Acura was
solid. I liked that one best. But I don't need anything really fancy for the
Vanagon, just functional. If it could retract, that would be awesome.

I bet there'd be some interest.  I need one myself, although I'll
probably sew one up out of green poly tarp material and shock cord.

The Toyota ones are basically just slide projector screens without the
stand.
