well heck most heater cores are aluminum and plastic, just like most of the new radiators. all I know is Radiator flush didn't work and the draino did. Use with caution and make no gaurantees, if it works great if not then you are doing the job anyway, All I know is that I have a bunch of customers that I saved a lot of money for. later mark d.
