Moderators have ruled all vanagon related topics are appropriate. Others have mentioned that they have a "no beans in the van" policy, while still others have spoken of proper preparation of refried beans while van camping, and how to use a pressure cooker to prepare beans (or not, as one's adherence to manufacturer's cautions might preclude legume cooking in a pressure cooker).
