to answer the question about anything to 'do' or be concerned about after installing the missing Idle Stabilizer gizmo... short answer is no. 'maybe' some minor adjusting on timing might be in order, but I wouldn't worry about that too much, other than to check to see what the timing is at idle, to see if it's in the ball park. Some tweaking on idle timing is ok if it gets you where you want to be, starting and idle wise, and power and fuel economy. For sure it's very important to check idle switch contact function. I find them off all the time. Particularly to avoid minor bucking at very low throttle openings, the idle switch has to work, and be adjusted correctly. Scott www.turbovans.com
