Almost without exception the low side is on the right, because that's coming FROM the condenser up front and INTO the compressor, and high side is on the left, which is coming OUT of the compressor. Right (low) side usually has a blue cap on it, left (high) side usually has a red cap on it. Simple layout diagram here: http://www.freeautomechanic.com/airconditioning.html bob
