I can chime in on sanitising with some experience. One hydrogen peroxide sanitiser I have used a lot is called Perox-e. Comes as concentrated solution which you dilute for use. Acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide combo (can't recall the concentrations of each).

Its a very good sanitiser, food safe, and in its working dilution can be left to dry on surfaces, without rinsing.

I am sure there are other brand names for the same type of product. I know for sure that Bayer makes a lab/medical version.

I realise this may not be available to all, but it is a good option if you can find it.

If i can add more things, and sound didactic, successful sanitising really depends on getting any dirt off the surface first. Organic material, aka crud, will reduce the effectiveness of both the peroxide based and chlorine based sanitisers. Also exposure time is important. Twenty minutes of sanitiser in proper concentration on a cleaned surface will do the trick.

I've heard that hydrogen peroxide works too. I believe it was from a listmember whose wife was a nurse.
