I've never had issue with the occasional vendor postings. However, posting the same item repeatedly over a short period of time will be a problem.

Complaints should be sent to the Mods and not the list. I do not think we need a mechanized set of rules but rather leave the final judgment to the moderators. For example, there mat be cases when posting a certain item might be pertinent to a thread which might break the rules if we specify an exact number of times an item may be posted per 'x' amount of time.
