I know the subject came up like a year ago. A few of the smarter electronics fellows were tossing ideas, that's all I recall; I don't know if this idea was ever realized. But -- something to fire off a piezo buzzer or klaxon if a warning light comes on? At least the alternator lamp and the overheat lamp. Some circuit with enough smarts to stay shut up when the bulbs are lit but should be. Was that thing ever worked out? And while I'm at it -- isn't the '84 supposed to have a buzzer for when the headlights are on but the engine isn't? Who sells that thing and where does it go? I think I have an empty socket near the fusebox. -- Mike "Rocket J Squirrel" Elliott 84 Westfalia: Mellow Yellow ("The Electrical Banana") 74 Westrailia: (Ladybug Trailer company, San Juan Capistrano, Calif.)
