About a month ago, I inquired on this list as to how to get the mirror out
of a late-model vanagon housing. Someone sent me instructions to find the
metal tabs holding the mirror in and bend them back, releasing the mirror.

The only tabs I found were some flimsy copper-looking ones, (four of them)
and they simply peeled back from the mirror glass with no effect.

What is it again that I am supposed to be doing?
