I have an automatic Tiico, and a CCS-100 with a vacuum reservior I got from a junk yard Volvo (I might do a better job with this if it gets to the top of my list of things to do).

You do need the VSS, as the tach feed can't cope with the torque converter changing the revs to suit the speed.

You need to set it up as a _front_ wheel drive, ie 2 magnets. I then used the following switch settings:

1 - off 2 - off 3 - on 4 - off 5 - on 6 - off 7 - on

Works just fine now, as long as I don't turn it on before the thing's in 3rd gear (the gear change will disengage it as the revs drop off).
