My 85 is doing the same thing. Here is a quick fix to get you home if you
need it. Tap the fuel pump with a plastic screw driver handle. Rap on it
a few times then see if you have pressure. If not have some one turn the
ignition on with you under it tapping on the pump. <br>
do not start it or turn it over just to hear the pump and tap on it is
all you want. Cycle it a few times then try firing it up. <br>
I have had to do this a few times and it has started every time. Pain in
the kester yes but it does work. I will buy 2. 1 to use and a spare.<br>

This is a 1.9 system with a 2.1 engine. <br>
