Jeff,
We are bummed that we missed it this year, we almost made it. Our friend 90
Westy's motor stopped near Grand Ledge (5 miles west of Lansing), we had to
have it toed to a shop.
Both belts were off the motor, and when we tried to see if the motor would
turn, the starter spun but the motor didn't! Waiting for the post motrum
from the Mechanic we found at www.cartalk.com
We don't have a clue what it could be, as the motor has less than 75k miles
on it... and it has ran like a top for the 3 years they have owned it.
We had to drive them back, and at that point we wrote of BBB.
We did make it to the MCCV event in Ypsilanti however, and my Westy was on
Fox 2!! Watch it at 10pm if you are up for it!

Well, we have been home from the 8th Buses by the Beach Bus Benefit for a
couple of hours now, and once again it was everything we expected! What a
great time! The only bad part was that it went by so quickly.
It was great to see all of our friends again. There were a ton of new faces
as well and it was nice meeting those people too.
Great buses, wonderful people, delicious beer, top notch music performances,
and some great raffle/auction items donated by so many of our generous
vendors and private volks.
Best part is we all had such a great time while also raising money for The
Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors.
I'd love to give a more detailed description of things but I'm just too
tired. I just wanted to thank Buses by the Beach for another great event. I
also wanted to personally thank any and all of you out there who donated to
the cause.
