ha ha ha ... sure ....I get the big results I think, but the big bucks.... I'm too nice. If I had even 20 bucks for ever hour I have spent fixing cars or vans, I would be a millionaire many times over.

really though, I said that to a guy one time about his ford that intermittently didn't start. He theorized igniter getting too hot, and that was it.

I hope people can grasp the nuances of that ...'blockage or leakage of fluids or electrons' . when you think about it ..it almost always is that. and some people don't realize 'fluids' are not just liquids. a flat tire is a 'blockage or leakage of fluids or electrons' after all.

so is a bad muffler, or anything you can think of almost. thrown rod from excessive extended rpm's ..well, maybe not quite.

got 'er fixed yet ? smiles, Scott ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Beierl" <dbeierl@attglobal.net> To: "Scott Daniel - Turbovans" <scottdaniel@turbovans.com> Cc: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Monday, May 24, 2010 1:42 PM Subject: Re: Alternator light mystery
