If you're talking about the power mirrors, Bentley 66.2 shows the parts and procedure. You are looking for a plastic tab that is vertically centered on each side of the mirror glass. They are easy to break. When you are looking at the reflective side of the mirror, the tabs turn the locking ring counterclockwise to unlatch and remove the glass. Push the outside edge of the mirror forward to gain better access to the locking ring tab on the inner edge. The next time that I do it, I will try to soak the locking ring with WD-40 or something similar to help break it free without breaking the plastic tabs.
