Gilles, Double check the wiring to ensure that there are no breaks or loose connections.  I have seen the wire to the temperature sender for the dash gauge to be burned out and not providing an accurate signal. This may cause the blinking as well as the burp-tank level.  Check that it is a good clean connection.  Happy Camping, Joel Cort Rochester NY ________________________________ From: Dennis Haynes <d23haynes57@HOTMAIL.COM> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Sent: Mon, May 24, 2010 10:54:20 PM Subject: Re: Blinking coolant level light Burp tank! Now that is a new term. The only resistance you should measure is that of the coolant itself. No coolant, resistance should be near infinite. Most false triggers of the warning light circuit are not the fault of the sensor. First step is to remove the coolant sensor control from the relay panel. Ignition on the light should flash for a few seconds and turn off. If it stays on then the problem most likely is the dash panel. The light is always blinking and the coolant level is OK an the temp is OK. Best regards.
