The spec is (with probes in the coolant) between 31K Ohm and 65K Ohm. I finally fixed my blinking coolant light by using some contact cleaner on the main instrument pod connector. That was AFTER I replaced the sensor and did the temp gauge capacitor fix. Here's a write-up: http://www.vanagonauts.com/Warning-Light-Fix241.htm
