Subject: A Warning about Shaving Gel
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

So for the past couple weeks I've found this weird dried foam substance kinda floating around in the van. It's pale blue, dry, powdery -- collapses when you touch it -- and everywhere.

This afternoon I noticed a blob of the stuff on the rear seat, an looking up, I spied a much bigger blob on the underside of the poptop right where it passes over the leading edge of the upper bed platform. And thar it wuz, right where I keep my toiletries: a can of Shick Shaving Gel that had blown its contents out of the vent hole in the center of the bottom.

Shaving gel foam everywhere. Great.

I dunno if this was a freezing thing, or what, but I no longer trust cans of Shick Shaving Gel left alone, unsupervised, in the van.

NVC, really, but it did get stuck to the inside of the vanagon, so sorta?
