        Greg, sounds like that rack  needs to be replaced.  Leaking
anywhere is a sign of demise.  Not a  hard job to do yourself.  Getting the tie rod
ends out of the steering  knuckles is the hardest.  I use a really big
hammer and whack the end of  the threaded spindle, they usually come out in two
or three whacks.    I just did one last week, took about three hours all
totalled.  I have the  racks, tie rods and boots.  Call me.
