I just perused the Bentley circuit diagram, and it'd be trivial to monitor oil, alternator, coolant level, headlights, and tachometer from the wires leading TO the cluster and splice into them BEFORE the blue foil, rather than dealing with the LEDs and such. Hook up seven wires, and I could have a box that screams whenever any of that stuff goes south. Hmmmm.....
